We were cleaning out the garage when we found them...
The little shoes....
the one pair of shoes that each of our kids wore
when they were oh... so....very... small...
I held them up when I found them
and said, "Oh look!
The shoes"

Now they are on my bookcase
I see them every day. They
remind me of when my kids were oh...so...very... small.
I miss them.

Oh! I started to cry when I saw the picture! (darn pregnancy.) I love those shoes. They remind me of my hobbit picture (you know the one, right?). I love you and I miss you too.
ReplyDeleteThose are the sweetest little shoes ever. It's so neat that you still have them.
ReplyDelete*sniff*. Baby stuff...*sniff*...I'm going to go wake up Reese and hold her. And Jenna. Also Halle. And Jett.
ReplyDeleteOne of my earliest memories is dad putting those shoes on me. I remember I gave them to him and then I laid down on the floor and put my feet up on his knees. He tickled my foot when he put my sock on and then when he was trying to put the shoe on he said, "push! Push!" and I grunted, but I knew I wasn't doing anything helpful. Love those shoes, love that memory (love the hat, love the purse, love the shoes, love everything, love it!) thanks for posting this. It was sweet to see them again! Love you
