Breakfast with Luanne

I was talking to Luanne the other day and I told her that I was sick of eating Golden Grahams. Although I love Golden Grahams, I had been eating them every day for a month, at least! She said that she was on a Honey Nut Cheerios kick, and that she gets in these moods where she will eat the same cereal for a long time and then finally switch to another kind. Mike and I finally made it to Walmart the other day and I told him I was not leaving the store without getting some new cold cereal. As I was moving slowly down the cereal aisle, I came to the Honey Nut Cheerios and thought of Luanne, so I bought some. This morning I had Honey Nut Cheerios (with banana pieces cut up in it) and while I was eating them I pretended that Luanne was sitting across the table from me and we were visiting. ( We had a really nice visit Luanne...thanks!) Ahhhh...it not only filled my stomach, it filled my heart.

Who can resist eating a cereal with such a happy mascot? Certainly not me.

My Jungle girlness!!!!

Sooo...I started this blog, it's FUN, I love doing it. It's great to take pictures to go along with my
ideas and thoughts. I wanted a camera that would take great pictures, but be easy to manage.
I remembered my little pocket digital, it would be PERFECT! I dug around in my very cluttered closet until I found my little forgotten gem. I held it above my head in victory! And even danced a short jig. I put the memory card in the slot and took Pictures ALL DAY! Excitedly, I came to post a new blog thinking deliciously of the pictures waiting to be used. WAIT! I don't know where my USB cord is. Okay, I will just put the memory card in the card slot on my computer...WAIT! my computer does. not. have. a. card. slot! Fine, I will put the memory card in my printer and download the pictures to my computer from there. AHHHH MAN!!! my memory card is tooooooo old and toooooo big for the slots on my printer....So now I am sitting here, ready to blog and all my pictures are stuck in my camera. I would illustrate this blog with a picture but.....
Sometimes it is so hard being a Jungle Girl. :(

After over 30 years on a water bed, I wanted a new, nice, COMFORTABLE bed. I STOMPED my foot, POINTED my finger...

He said, "Yes, My Love!"

IT'S BIG!

But.....it wasn't comfortable to him.

He wanted a memory foam pad to put on top.

He STOMPED his foot, POINTED his finger...

I said, "Yes, My Love!"

Now it's bigger!

We went into the store where we bought it.

It's tooooo bigggg! we wailed...

We can't get into it, and

we are afraid to get out of it...we are old,

if we fall we will BREAK. OUR. HIPS!

We STOMPED our feet, We POINTED our fingers..

They looked at us strangely.

They are coming today to make it just right!

PS...I am kneeling down in the picture...but the bed is still big!

Winter

It snowed, and snowed,and snowed,and snowed, and snowed, and snowed!

It snowed for days. I watched out my window. I thought it would never stop. I thought,

"I wish I had some slippers, and hot chocolate,and a snuggly blanket,

and a DAY OFF!"
